We traveled during 8 months around Southern & Eastern Africa

October 2014 - May 2015

This was our complete route:

The first part of the trip was a road trip with a rental car (3 months)

across 5 countries in Southern Africa:

From Johannesburg. South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swazilan.
We visited several game parks. Amazing wild life!
Camping, cooking, driving.

Southern Africa Roadtrip

The second part of the trip was backpackers style (5 months):
moving around by public transport, sleeping in cheap lodges, eating in local restaurants.
 

From South Africa (Polokwane) to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania (and Zanzibar), Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya (departure from Nairobi).
