¿ How much can be the budget to travel 
around Swaziland ?

We visited Swaziland during a 3 months road-trip through southern Africa (Swaziland, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Lesotho).

The visit in Swaziland was really short, only 4 days/3 nights, in december 2014. It´s true that it´s a small country.


Average exchange rate: 
1 euro =  14,10 Emalangeni

This was our budget:

• Accommodation (camping 3 nights): 430 R (31 euros)

• Food/drinks (supermarket): 170 R (12 euro)

• Petrol: 500 R ( 36 euros)

• Car rental Ford Fiesta (3 days): 35 euros 

          Rented in Johannesburg (SA) for 3 months, 11.75 euros/day.

• Car Border tax: 50 R (4 euros)

• Medical Insurrance: 2 euros

Total Budget in Swaziland: 120 € for 2 people for  4 days/3 nights

• Average budget /day in Swaziland: 40 euros for 2 people.
• Average budget /month in Swaziland: 1.200 euros for 2 people.
